Mpho Ludidi is an Afro-soul singer and songwriter with roots in the vibrant and musically colorful city of Johannesburg, South Africa. This is where he first encountered soul and jazz music. Spending his early years with his grandfather, an exceptional singer who lived in a tranquil rural area of Matatiele shaped his African sound. The Mpho Ludidi Ensemble brings together the voice and guitar of Mpho Ludidi, Magnus Peterson on double bass and flute and the awesome Robin Cochrane on percussion.
